Staff

I joined the GS Staff June 1, 2005. I have been an ordained pastor since 1996. I have served in parishes in rural western ND and Wahpeton ND.I serve as an on-call chaplain at Avera St. Luke Hospital and Worthmore Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center in Aberdeen. My wife, Jennifer works as an Educational Assistant at Holgate Middle School. We have two sons, Jake and Brock.

CHRIS ANDERSON, PASTOR

My husband, Tom and I have been members of Good Shepherd since 1969.  Involvement with music: music coordinator, choir director, choir member has been a constant in my life. Tom and I are parents to four sons and grandparents to six granddaughters.

I have worked at GS for 7 years. Prior to this I worked as a custodian for Aberdeen Public Schools for 15 years. My wife Renee and I have 1 daughter and 2 sons. I enjoy hunting, motorcycle riding, and anything I can do with my family.

TODD BLACK, CUSTODIAN

I joined the staff of Good Shepherd in October of 2009.  I have a degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, both from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. I have one son, Matt.

 

 

MARY MELEMSETER, CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

I graduated in May from South Dakota State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  My specialization is from birth to age eight with a kindergarten endorsement.

I am originally from Aberdeen.  I enjoy playing tennis and spending time at the lake either fishing or doing water sports. 


BRITTANY HANSON, PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR/TEACHER


I graduated from the University of North Dakota in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences.  Through my involvement at Christus Rex Lutheran Campus Ministries at UND and the past five summers spent at NeSoDak Bible Camp, I discovered a passion for youth and peer ministry.  I love the outdoors, especially fishing.  I also enjoy playing guitar, listening to music, and a good cup of coffee. 


 
NATHAN SKADSEN, YOUTH DIRECTOR
I started at Good Shepherd in March, 2006, as the part-time Business Manager. My husband, Brian, and I and our twins, Tanner and Hannah, live near Mansfield where Brian farms. Our children attend Warner School, where I also graduated. We like to go fishing, hunting and camping...if there is ever any free time.

KAREN WIEDEBUSH, BUSINESS MANAGER

I grew up in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School. I have two grown children, Char and Todd. I spent twelve years at Presentation College as the Administrative Secretary in the Nursing Department. Most of my spare time is spent with my grandchildren, Lance and Rachel.
