Our mission is to nurture a love of God and a love of learning. Our philosophy is that preschool is a place where many children begin their initial education experience. A time of growing in awareness of self and others that allows children to play, explore, and imagine. Each child will feel safe, loved, and respected and recognized as an individual with needs and potential.

Vacation Bible School for children who have completed Nursery-Kindergarten
1 week during the summer at Good Shepherd

Day Camp for children who have completed 1st - 5th Grade
1 week during the summer at Wylie Park (Trained counselors from Lutherans Outdoors)

Youth Ministries

6th - 12th Grade

Confirmation - 6th Grade, Wednesday from 5:30pm-7:10pm; 7th-9th Grade, Wednesday from 6:15pm-8:00pm.

Working with the pastors and adult volunteer guides, the students are involved in study, small and large group discussions, fellowship, special events, and service projects, all aimed at deepening faith and building a sense of belonging and community.

10th Graders choose an adult member as a mentor and meet with them in a one-on-one relationship four times during the school year. At the end of the year, a retreat is held to prepare them for their affirmation of baptism (confirmation) in the spring.

Synod Youth Gathering and National Youth Gathering are for students who have completed 9th Grade.

11th and 12th Graders are offered the opportunity to be a part of Peer Ministry.

Adult Ministry
Sunday morning classes, forums, and Shepherd Small Group are available.
